I just finished your book. You have blessed me greatly with who you are in Christ. Thank you for your chosen life in Christ.

I must say during the "Joy Chapter" I bursted out with the giggles and I know it was the Holy Spirit. So awesome! It lasted even after I ended the chapter and continued my day.

Now I know God calls all his people to pray, but a couple months ago I really felt a nudging of God's spirit to pray pray pray! That in these times it is very important to pray. And I have been doing so, but your book has just added to my closeness with God in doing this.

Hi Matt, I wanted to share with you what happened in our Youth Group in my home this evening. We had a powerful encounter with the presence of God and you were a catalyst for that presence through your book, Power for Life: Keys to a Life Marked by the Presence of God. I was reading your book earlier in the day on the bus into NYC and I read your testimony of when your mother was healed and your early encounters with the Presence of God. The fact that you were only 15 really hit me because I was leading the Youth Group that evening. Later in the day, I was studying the lesson for the group in the evening and I felt like God wanted me to go "off book" and share some testimonies with the Youth. I decided to include the first part of "Reaching the Saturation Point" in what we read that night. As I was reading your words, the Power of God came into the room and we stepped into an awesome time of ministry and worship. I'm so glad I listened to Holy Spirit! God really moved on these youth and I hope to bring them to see you next month!

The reason I am writing to you is this: Sometimes you read a book and rush through it...other times you sit with it and enjoy the words of other faith experiences of tests and trials. Maybe I'm not a fast reader but do enjoy reading what touched my heart from God. I'm still reading your book Matt Sorger. I'm amazed how it's written. What you tell us about many things to life. Wow! God is using it. Things I think about. I've chuckled. It's helped me to look to God where I am. What does God have for you! I am realizing not to depend on others even a closest friend, though we need them, it's learning to depend on what God has us do or not do. I know there's more yet.

Matt, I've been reading your book and have been a complete wreck. I have been crying with every chapter and I can't stop crying. I just finished reading chapter 7 that speaks about integrity, brokeness, repentence and association. At times, I had to stop and put the book down because I felt God's presence on me so intensely and cried and cried until I could hardly breathe. Just to let you know that because of you my eyes are puffy. And because of your book I feel so much closer to God. THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!
